Katharina A. Zipp

Katharina Zipp

I studied Organic Agriculture at the University of Kassel (Germany) and did my PhD there in the Farm Animal Behaviour and Husbandry section about milk ejection problems in cow-calf contact systems (2018). Since 2020 my main task is teaching students in the fields of farm animal behaviour and welfare in husbandry, during transport and slaughter. There are some chickens living in my garden; at work I’m more a specialist for ruminants.

As ISAE secretary for the West Central Europe Region I will be responsible for the promotion of young scientists.
