I have recently completed my PhD in Clinical Veterinary Sciences at the University of Edinburgh, Teagasc and SRUC. My PhD project was on using enrichment and feeding strategies to control tail biting in pigs managed on fully slatted floors and also experimenting different intervention protocols to control tail biting outbreaks. I am now working as a farm animal welfare advisor while continuing my research in pig behaviour and welfare and expand my research interest in all aspects related to farm animals.
