Book series: Agricultural Animal Welfare
Woodhead Publishers, a division of Elsevier, has published 5 books in a series: Agricultural Animal Welfare. The series provide comprehensive coverage of animal welfare of the world’s major farmed animals including cattle, poultry, sheep and pigs. There is also a general volume exploring developments in the key areas of agricultural animal welfare assessment and improvement. The overall series editor is Dr. Joy Mench and the books should be available to you through your institutional subscription to Elsevier.

There are nearly 700 members worldwide and each year the Society assembles for a major International Congress, where in addition to addresses by special keynote speakers, members present their latest research findings. There are also regular regional conferences held to encourage local knowledge exchange.
