Joint DCAW and NordCAW Animal Welfare Conference

The University of Copenhagen is, in collaboration with the Danish Centre for Animal Welfare (DCAW) and the Nordic Network for Communicating Animal Welfare (NordCAW), arranging a two-day conference on animal welfare. The themes are consumer-driven animal welfare and animal based welfare indicators.

Attendance is free but it requires registration. There is space for some posters but there are no additional slots for oral presentations.

There are nearly 700 members worldwide and each year the Society assembles for a major International Congress, where in addition to addresses by special keynote speakers, members present their latest research findings. There are also regular regional conferences held to encourage local knowledge exchange.
