Postdoctoral Associate, Clinical Animal Behavior

The School of Animal Sciences at Virginia Tech is searching for a postdoctoral associate to oversee clinical animal behavior services and assist in the development of a research line that would include but not be limited to the study of companion animal behavior, training, and welfare.
The individual in this position will lead the behavior consultation and training services for owners and their pets, answer novel research questions about companion animal problem behaviors, and provide learning opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students.
This position begins in August 2025. Candidates must have prior experience as an applied animal behaviorist or behavior consultant with owners and their pets. Preferably, candidates will have a PhD in Animal Behavior, Biology, Psychology, or related field.
