I am Dr. Usama T. Mahmoud. I am working as assistant professor in the Department of Animal Hygiene, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Assiut University, Egypt. I am a former visiting scholar, Purdue University, USA (2013-2015). My area of interest is sheep, buffalo, cattle, pigs and poultry welfare, specifically under stress conditions. I am pioneering work in animal behaviour and welfare in Egypt and am seeking international collaboration, postdoctoral position and a short training program to broaden my experience in animal behaviour and welfare.
