Seeking postdoctoral supervisor in the fields of Animal Welfare or Livestock Production Management in the USA
Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Livestock Production Management, Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, India.
I have done my PhD. in Animal Sciences (LPM) and am currently an Extension Specialist with Teaching and Research experience. I have also written a book on Cow Shelter (Gaushala) in association with Mrs. Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, a renowned Animal Welfare activist and Cabinet Minister, Govt. of India.
In addition to this, I personally feel still a lot need to be learned regarding animal welfare and livestock management from US. This might help me resolve problems related to livestock management and animal welfare at grass root level in Indian villages.
Also, I will be applying for 2020-2021 Fulbright-Nehru Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (FNPostdoc) for pursuing Postdoc from USA. If I will be selected, the fellowship will cover J-1 visa support and all living expenses for the entire period of my stay.
