Debora Dipinto

 21st Jun 2024

My name is Debora Dipinto, and I am a M.Sc. student in the Early Childhood Research program at Leipzig University, Germany. I am looking for an internship (min 225 hours) between August and October 2024. I am deeply fascinated by the potential of human-animal interactions to promote positive development in children, particularly in the areas of trauma recovery and resilience. My long-term goal is to specialize in animal-assisted interventions for children with attachment
disorders. I am enthusiastic to learn more about the practical and research aspects of animal-assisted interventions.
Currently, I am working as a research assistant where I investigate the impact of attachment styles on social learning and cognition in orangutans with The Max Plank Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology.
